Pulp to play one-off gig in Sheffield
A one-off Pulp concert has been announced for December.
The iconic British group will play a homecoming gig on December 8th at Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena.
Pulp reunited last year and played a series of festival around the world, including a surprise set at Glastonbury.
The Christmas homecoming gig has been described on their official website as "a journey back to where it all began" and the group also said in a statement that tissues may be necessary.
Speaking to NME in June, frontman Jarvis Cocker said that the band were undecided on whether they were going to record new material or not.
Jarvis and co already have an enviable back catalogue though, with hit singles such as Common People, Disco 2000, Something Changed and Do You Remember the First Time?
The band released seven albums throughout their career and also headlined the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival twice, so Pulp live should be an exciting prospect.
