Queen's Greatest Hits 'top selling UK album of all time'
There may not be any Queen tickets on sale at the moment, but that does not mean fans of the band are not still buying their albums.
A new chart compiled for the BBC by the Official Charts Company has revealed Queen's Greatest Hits is the best selling album of all time in the UK.
It was first released in 1981 and since then, has sold 5.8 million copies.
With tunes such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites the Dust and Don't Stop Me Now all included on the CD, it may come as no surprise that it is so popular.
It beat Sgt Pepper by The Beatles to the top spot, with Gold by Abba in third and the Oasis album What's The Story Morning Glory in fourth.
BBC Radio 2 by DJ Tony Blackburn said: "This chart is a real mixed bag. I think listeners will be quite surprised."
While a Queen tour is not on the cards at the moment, a touring concert show called The Queen Extravaganza will be launching in Canada and the US this summer.
