Rare early Emeli Sande tracks still available online
Nowadays, an Emeli Sande tour will see the singer travel all over the world, but the star's first EP is still rarely heard.
The Daily Record spoke to the producer of that record John Ansdell, who was the first person to sign the artist to his label Souljawn, which has now been renamed Innovation Music.
He explained he saw a Gumtree advert from a singer called Adele Sande - her real name - who was looking for a producer and when he heard her sing he signed her immediately.
"I went to see her perform and I could tell straight away that she was an incredible talent," he stated, adding: "Not only could she sing but was also a great songwriter and musician - she ticked all the boxes."
The EP he recorded with the singer is still available on iTunes and includes tunes Best Friend, Your Song, Baby Eyes and Has Needs.
But even those who snapped up Emeli Sande tickets as soon as they came out may not have heard the rare tracks, as very few people know about them, the news provider said.
The singer will be travelling to the US, Canada and Europe to perform this year, as well as playing gigs in Norwich, Leeds, Aberdeen, Liverpool, Glasgow, Manchester, Cardiff, Birmingham and London in April.
