Red Bull offer new deal to Mark Webber
Mark Webber has been rewarded for his blistering start to the 2010 Formula One season with an offer of a new contract with his current team Red Bull.
The 33-year-old Australian has impressed this year and currently sits at the top of the drivers' championship.
He has won the last two races and is hoping to make it a hat-trick of victories at this weekend's Turkish Grand Prix.
Team boss Christian Horne said: "When we sit down and talk about it, it will be straightforward.
"If it's not broken why fix it? It's clear where our and his intent is.
"It's just a matter of sorting out the paperwork with his management. In the coming weeks that will be sorted."
There had been rumours that Red Bull could offer a contract to former world champion Kimi Raikkonen, who left the sport in 2009, but this has now been dismissed.
The Turkish Grand Prix takes place this Sunday (May 30th) in Istanbul.
