Roger Waters rules out Pink Floyd reunion

Roger Waters has ruled out Pink Floyd reunion

With the Roger Waters tour now underway, the rock legend has revealed that he has no desire to see Pink Floyd reunite.

The former Pink Floyd bassist and songwriter is currently touring Europe as part of his The Wall Live tour and was recently joined on stage in London by ex bandmates David Gilmour and Nick Mason.

But in an interview with BBC Radio 4, Waters dashed the hopes of those holding out for any future reunion of the band.

"I'm really glad that I was in that band for the 20 years that I was in it and I really enjoyed it. I think we did some great work together but I have no wish to do it ever again," he said.

Pink Floyd had planned to reform last year for a charity concert, but pulled out when they learned that it was to be staged at socialite Jemima Khan's house.

Roger Waters is due to play two more UK gigs as part of his current tour - at the NIA in Birmingham on June 27th and the MEN Arena in Manchester on June 28th.
