Schalk Brits hopes better team spirit will help Sarries exact revenge on Tigers
Saracens hooker Schalk Brits is hoping solid team work will help his side beat the Leicester Tigers in front of those with Aviva Premiership final tickets this weekend.
Brits and his teammates are out for revenge after they lost to Leicester in last year's final and the South African believes an improved team spirit could make the difference.
"This feels totally different because our set piece has improved, our team spirit is better, we are playing better compared to last season's final," he told the Evening Standard.
"We learnt the lessons of that defeat and worked extremely hard to make the necessary improvements. I would love to win the title with Sarries," the 30-year-old added.
If Saracens do overcome the Tigers, it will be their first silverware for 13 years, since they won the Tetley's Bitter Cup in 1998.
The Aviva Premiership Final takes place at Twickenham on Saturday (May 28th).
