Shakira concert cancelled due to snow
A Shakira concert in Germany had to be cancelled because of the bad weather that is engulfing much of north-west Europe.
The Columbian star was due to play in Frankfurt on Wednesday night (December 8th) but had to cancel as she was unable to take off from the airport in Paris.
Concert organisers had to inform fans of the problem just an hour before the show was due to begin, reports the Associated Press, with the gig likely to be rescheduled in early 2011.
The French capital has been heavily hit by snow this week, even leading to the Eiffel Tower being temporarily closed.
Meanwhile, a sneak preview of Shakira's new music video for the single Sale El Sol has emerged online.
Fittingly, it shows the 33-year-old singing with her band in a snowy forest.
Shakira begins a UK tour at the MEN Arena in Manchester on December 14th, before shows in Belfast, Glasgow and London.
