Sick kids invited backstage at Kylie Minogue concert
A group of sick children were given the opportunity to go backstage at a recent Kylie Minogue concert in Glasgow.
The Australian singer, who herself recently overcame a battle with cancer, invited Shannon Mackenzie, Rachel Cameron, Colin McLaren, Mari Green and Erin Geddes to her show at the SECC after local charity fundraiser Les Hoey got in touch.
Colin, aged 12, from Wishaw, suffers from the rare genetic condition adrenoleukodystrophy.
He told the Scottish Daily Record: "Kylie was brilliant. I got a big kiss on my left cheek and she sang my favourite song Higher to me.
"She gave me a rose from the stage too. I've already Facebooked it and everyone is jealous."
Kylie is currently on her first tour for three years after recovering from breast cancer.
The singer plays a string of London shows this week and next, all at the O2 Arena.
Her first London show takes place tonight, April 7th, with four more concerts to follow.
