Simon Cowell backs JLS to break the US
Despite opting not to sign the group when they competed on X Factor, Simon Cowell has backed JLS to achieve success in the US.
The music mogul recently introduced the band to American Idol host and US radio presenter Ryan Seacrest, the Daily Mail reports.
"JLS were the runners-up on another show I do in London. They've sold about two million records and I think they might break in America," the news provider quotes Cowell as telling Seacrest.
"They're hard working, they respect their fans, and they're super, super talented," he added.
The band then performed an acapella version of their hit single Everybody in Love in front of a clearly impressed Seacrest.
JLS have been in the US for several weeks now where they are recording a new album.
Upon their return to the UK, the boys have a series of gigs lined-up, including Capital FM's Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium on June 6th.
