Simon Cowell lines up Beyonce for X Factor
Beyonce is reportedly being lined up to replace Dannii Minogue as an X Factor judge.
Simon Cowell is in the process of recruiting the American superstar to fill in for Minogue while she takes time off to become a mother, the News of the World reports.
Despite the 38-year-old Australian's claim she will not be leaving the show, there has been concern she will have to take some time out, with her baby due during the middle of auditions in July.
According to the newspaper, Cowell is hoping to get Beyonce as her replacement, possibly on a short-term basis with other stars stepping in as judges, with names such as Eminem, Robbie Williams and Jay Z being mooted.
A show insider told the news provider: "It's difficult to get A-listers to commit to a six-month slot as a full judge, but a fortnight is a lot simpler.
"Expect Beyonce on the panel. Nothing has been confirmed yet because the deal hasn't been sealed with ITV but she'll be there in some form."
The X Factor begins a live tour next month, starting at Liverpool's Echo Arena on February 15th.
