Singer discusses directorial debut ahead of Alicia Keys concert
Those who buy Alicia Keys tickets to her London concert later this year may also be interested in a new short film being directed by the singer.
Making her directorial debut, Keys is putting together a 30-minute film as part of a project being organised by Jennifer Aniston.
It will see the creation of a series of films directed by five different women, including actress Demi Moore and filmmaker Patty Jenkins, focusing on the issue of breast cancer.
Speaking about the project to BBC Newsbeat, Keys said: "After those five shorts have been directed they all connect to be one incredible story where all the characters are intertwined.
"It's pretty amazing. My particular short has three incredible actresses in it and I'm so excited as to who's signed on - it's pretty nuts."
Meanwhile, today (April 15th) sees Alicia Keys tickets go on sale for a special one-off gig in London being held to mark the tenth anniversary of the singer’s breakthrough album Songs in A Minor.
Keys will play the Royal Albert Hall on June 13th.
