Singer leads Billboard award nominations as Rihanna tickets go on sale
With a new batch of Rihanna tickets going on sale today (April 15th), it has been announced that the singer will lead the way in nominations for this year’s Billboard Music Awards.
The S&M songstress has been nominated in a total of 18 categories, including some of the biggest prizes up for grabs, such as Top Hit 100 Artist, Top R&B Artist and Top Radio Song Artist.
The winners are determined by chart performance, social and streaming activity as well as radio airplay.
Rapper Eminem is the closest to Rihanna in terms of nominations and is up for a total of 16 awards.
The awards will be announced at a ceremony on May 22nd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, Rihanna tickets go on sale at 9am today for a recently added date to her upcoming UK tour.
The singer will now play a tenth show at the O2 Arena in London, taking place on December 20th.
