Six Nations ticket holders see improved England
England's 30-17 win over Wales on the opening day of the RBS Six Nations proves that the team can enjoy a successful tournament.
Those with tickets to see England versus Ireland at Twickenham in the Red and White's next home game on February 27th will be hoping for a repeat performance after the team recorded their first win over Wales since 2006.
And fly-half Jonny Wilkinson believes that opening-day performance can propel England on to greater things in a tournament for which they are considered by many to be something of an underdog.
"Strange to say, but the progress is probably just in the result," said Wilkinson, after a performance which saw him score six kicks from six.
"It's a big, big step forward for us and that's what we need to build on."
Tries from James Haskell and Danny Care were enough to give England an impressive win over Wales, who were considered favourites going into the game.
England will next play Italy at the Stadio Flamino on Sunday February 14th, before returning to Twickenham the following weekend for the game against Ireland.
