Songs in A Minor to get re-release following Alicia Keys concert
With Alicia Keys tickets going on sale today, it has been announced that the singer will re-release her critically acclaimed album Songs in A Minor later this year.
The musician is to play a one-off gig at the Royal Albert Hall on June 13th in which Keys will perform alone, accompanied only by her piano, to mark the tenth anniversary of Songs in A Minor.
She will then release a deluxe edition of the record, along with ten new tracks written at the time, later that month (June 27th).
Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, the singer-songwriter said: "It's incredible that I've been able to make it ten years and here we are celebrating that.
"London is so good to me. I want to show my gratitude."
Meanwhile, Keys is also working on a new album in LA, as well as directing her first short film as part of a project organised by Jennifer Aniston, which will focus on the issue of breast cancer.
