Sophie Ellis-Bexter: Touring with Take That was like being with family
Fans with Take That tickets to the last of the Wembley gigs may be pleased to hear that Gary Barlow and his bandmates really are as friendly as they seem.
In an interview with Heat magazine, Sophie Ellis-Bexter said she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the boys when she toured with them four years ago.
The Take Me Home singer supported Take That on their sell-out Beautiful World shows back in 2007.
"It was really like a family on that tour," she remarked. "They would some along to sound check and we had a few amazing parties that they put on."
Sophie also revealed that the band used to leave notes in her dressing room thanking her for joining them on the road.
"It was a happy tour," she insisted "They got the best out of everyone I think."
This time around, the group have reunited with Robbie Williams to perform tracks from their new album Progress.
Robbie also sings some of his solo hits during the show, which has been impressing audiences across the UK since it kicked off in Sunderland in May.
