Spokeswoman dismisses leaked Stone Roses tour dates
Stone Roses tour dates that leaked online yesterday (October 26th) have been dismissed as fake by a spokeswoman for the band.
The itinerary, which was published by a fansite for the Manchester quartet, claimed they would be playing in many major cities around the UK, including two dates at London's O2 Arena.
However, a Stone Roses representative has stated the dates are false.
"It's completely untrue except for the Manchester dates, which are obviously accurate - as announced," she was quoted by NME as saying.
As a result, the only Stone Roses concerts that have been confirmed so far are the three shows they will play at Manchester's Heaton Park between June 29th and July 1st next year.
Tickets for the June shows were snapped up fast when they went on sale last week, resulting in the band adding the third show on July 1st in order to satisfy demand.
