Steve Reich to present reworked Radiohead songs
People with Radiohead tickets may also be keen to see a classical music show based on the rock band's tracks.
Renowned minimalist composer Steve Reich, who is known for experimental pieces including Electric Counterpoint, has written a composition based on two of the group's songs.
He reworked Kid A track Everything In Its Right Place and the tune Jigsaw Falling Into Place from the In Rainbows album.
The end result is a piece Reich has named Radio Rewrite, which will be performed in the UK next year.
Andrew Burke, chief executive of the London Sinfonietta, 13 musicians from which will play the new composition on stage in 2013, told the Guardian the tracks may not be instantly recognisable.
"I don't think Steve will be quoting these songs directly," he stated. "How he uses the songs as a starting point for what he does is going to be part of the excitement."
Mr Burke explained the idea came about because Reich met the band's guitarist Jonny Greenwood and saw him play Electric Counterpoint.
Most Radiohead tour dates are now sold out across the US, Mexico and Europe, but the group has not yet announced shows for the UK.
