Sting takes requests for forthcoming tour
The set-list for the forthcoming Sting tour was partly devised by the musician's fans, who he recently asked to vote for the songs they most wanted to hear.
A new video released yesterday (December 7th) showed the singer explaining how he picked which tunes to play out of those requested by his followers.
The ideas put forth by fans were also released via footage uploaded to Sting's website as part of a series called Virtual Ticket.
Kicking off on February 5th at the Sage in Gateshead, the tour is called Back to Bass and is coming to Europe after recently travelling through the US.
At each Sting concert, fans will have the opportunity to hear classic songs from over his long career, including ones he sang with the Police.
The tour celebrates the release of the celebrity's box-set Sting: 25 Years, which was recently nominated for a Grammy Award.
After his gig in Gateshead, the artist will jet off to perform across the continent - including in France, Belgium and Sweden - before returning to the UK for shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow in March.
