Stone Roses 'to play V Festival'
People looking for The Stone Roses tickets could grab a pass to go to the V Festival, as it has been rumoured the band will headline the event.
A source told the Sun the group's presence could bring big crowds to the annual music weekend.
"Eminem and Rihanna, who played this year, will be tough acts to follow, but the Roses are a massive draw," they said.
The V Festival 2012 will be held on August 18th and 19th next year and tickets are expected to go on sale around March.
According to the insider, the Stone Roses are using the same tour promoters that worked with Coldplay, Take That and Oasis.
This comes after it was announced the band would be headlining three other festivals - T in the Park in Scotland, Benicassim in Spain and Fuji Rock in Japan.
After The Stone Roses reunion tour tickets sold out in 68 minutes, news the group will be playing at other events is likely to be welcomed by fans who did not manage to get their hands on a pass.
