Summertime Ball stars JLS hope new single leads to international recognition
JLS, who play in front of those with Capital FM Summertime Ball tickets this year, are hoping their latest single could lead to an international breakthrough.
The band have announced their next single will be She Makes Me Wanna, which is released on July 24th.
It was produced by Lady Gaga collaborator RedOne and includes a cameo from American rapper Dev.
Speaking to the Daily Star, the band revealed they believe the song could help them achieve success outside their native UK.
The band’s Marvin Humes commented: "We're hoping that this song is going to take us international.
"It features America rapper/singer Dev, who was on Like A G6 with Far East Movement and has her own single with Tinie Tempah coming out.
"This song for us has got a lot of energy and was one of the first we wrote for the third album."
JLS will give a debut live performance of She Makes Me Wanna at this year's Capital FM Summertime Ball, which takes place at London's Wembley Stadium on June 12th.
