Swedish House Mafia intend to throw "the biggest private party on Earth"
The idea behind the Swedish House Mafia live show in Madison Square Garden in New York in December is to throw "the biggest private party on Earth".
This is according to the outfit's manager Amy Thomson, who told Billboard.com the artists are aiming the event at their fans rather than having a large marketing campaign.
Swedish House Mafia tickets are not only on sale for US music lovers, however, as the dance band announced a gig at the Milton Keynes National Bowl at the same time they confirmed they would play at Madison Square Garden.
In the UK, the act will be performing in front of 65,000 people, but Ms Thomson insisted "this really isn't about 'we're massive, quick let's play a massive venue'".
"This is about the quality of the event for our fans," she said.
The next Swedish House Mafia live show will be in Florianopolis, Brazil, on December 2nd.
