The Queen 'a fan of Leonard Cohen'
It is not only members of the public that could be after Leonard Cohen tickets to see him perform this summer.
The Sun has revealed the Queen is an unlikely fan of the singer, who has been nicknamed the Godfather of Gloom due to the downbeat style of his tunes.
She has reportedly asked for Cohen's hit song Hallelujah to be performed at her Diamond Jubilee Pageant at Windsor Castle this summer.
Canadian group The Tenors are set to do the honours and will take to the stage when the Royal Canadian Mounted Police are on parade.
"She told us how much she enjoyed Hallelujah. It was her favourite," the group's singer Victor Micallef said.
Prince Charles has also admitted to being a fan of Cohen in the past.
Tickets are now available for a Leonard Cohen tour this summer, which will include a one-off UK date at Hop Farm Country Park in Kent.
