The Revival Tour heads to the UK
The Revival Tour concerts are heading to the UK this autumn bringing a collection of acoustic artists.
The alternative music showcase, which features solo performances and collaborations between singer-songwriters, will arrive in the UK on October 16th in Cardiff before going on to play dates in London, Oxford, Birmingham and Bristol among others.
Finishing in Leeds on November 20th, The Revival Tour gigs 2012 will feature performances from the founder of the event Chuck Ragan, Cory Branan, Emily Barker, Jay Malinowski, Rocky Votolato and other special guests.
Beginning in 2008, Chuck Ragan wanted to recreate the element of sharing and collaboration that was closely associated with folk music in the past.
Featuring both established and up-and-coming artists, Ragan states that there is no hierarchy on the tour, with all the acts opening and closing the show together.
"It's about sharing music together and bringing it to people in an extremely honest and grassroots fashion," he added.
