The Revival Tour returns to the UK in the autumn
The Revival Tour 2012 will hit British shores this autumn, featuring a feast of acoustic artists.
The concerts will showcase Chuck Ragan, who used to play in punk band Hot Water Music, Emily Barker, American songwriter Cory Branan, Jay Malinowski of Bedouin Soundclash fame and Rocky Votolato.
Beginning in Cardiff on October 16th, the UK leg of the world tour will stop off at Norwich, London, Brighton, Newcastle and Bristol among others, before finishing in Leeds University Union on November 20th.
Chuck Ragan is the brainchild behind the musical venture and the first set of gigs occurred in 2008. It has since grown in to a respected event on the music scene and it is likely The Revival Tour tickets will be popular with fans.
Ragan said the origins of the concerts stemmed from the idea of families and communities sharing music together.
"In the last five years that I've had the opportunity of being on The Revival Tour, it's been nothing but an invigorating breath of fresh air amongst the sea of live music out there today," he added.
