The Vaccines to provide support on Arctic Monkeys tour
This autumn's Arctic Monkeys tour will feature The Vaccines as the support act, it has been announced.
The up and coming indie band will support the Sheffield rockers on all nine of their recently announced arena dates.
It comes after The Vaccines also supported the Suck It and See group on their North American tour and at last week's two homecoming gigs at Sheffield's Don Valley Bowl.
Formed in London only last year, The Vaccines have already become one of the music scene's most hotly tipped bands.
The four-piece released their first album, called What Did You Expect from The Vaccines?, in March, reaching number four in the UK charts.
They also came third in the BBC's Sound of 2011 poll in January.
Arctic Monkeys start their new UK tour at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham on October 28th.
Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday (June 17th).
