Usher tour: Star says he will always be there to support Justin Bieber
Ahead of the upcoming Usher tour of the UK, the star has pledged to offer support for teenage pop sensation Justin Bieber.
Usher has mentored Bieber since he first began his musical career three years ago at the age of 13 when he signed the youngster to his record label US Records.
Now, Usher has pledged to back the singer through the good and difficult aspects of the music business.
Speaking to CNN, he said: "I will be there, supportive of the growth.
"I will be there, supportive of the hard times; I will be there, supportive of the tumultuous situations and circumstances that he may experience in his life.
"The pitfalls of fame come in time. It should be a long story, which is what we hope for. We hope for longevity and it's definitely looking like a lot of fans will want to grow with him."
Usher kicks off his UK tour at the MEN Arena in Manchester on January 26th.
Justin Bieber, meanwhile, is also set to tour the UK later this year, starting at the NIA in Birmingham on March 4th.
