V Festival visitors invited to download official app
Holders of V Festival tickets are being encouraged to download the event's official smartphone application to ensure they make the most of their experience.
The app is available now for iPhone, Nokia, BlackBerry and Android devices.
It boasts a range of useful features, including tools to help users find their way around the site and locate their tent, car and even their fellow festival-goers with the Facebook Friend Finder.
Owners of Nokia devices can make use of some exclusive bonuses, including a personalised line-up function, an 'action cam' to share photos on Facebook and competitions offering luxury accommodation in special tents and pop-up hotels at both Hylands Park and Weston Park.
Returning on August 20th and 21st this year, the V Festival will include performances from the likes of Eminem, Rihanna, Manic Street Preachers, Arctic Monkeys, Plan B and Kaiser Chiefs on the main stage.
Dizzee Rascal, Pendulum, Primal Scream and other big names will be entertaining crowds at the 4 Music stage.
