Vaughan promises those with Ashes tickets will see Graeme Swann improve
Those with Ashes tickets will see England bowler Graeme Swann improve his game as the series goes on, it has been claimed.
According to former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan, the off-spinner will still have a big impact on the series despite his relatively poor form in the first Test.
Swann recorded figures of 2-161 at The Gabba in Brisbane as England and Australia played out a draw in the first Test of this winter's Ashes.
But, speaking to BBC Sport, Vaughan said better was to come from the 31-year-old.
"If there are runs on the board he'll get confidence. In one Test he'll produce, I'm confident," he said.
"He'll get better as the series goes on - the toss will be important in [the second Test at] Adelaide."
That Test takes place at the Adelaide Oval on December 3rd.
England only need to draw the five-Test series in order to retain the Ashes, having won the last series 2-1.
