Westlife tour tickets in demand
Demand for tickets to the forthcoming Westlife tour has been strong, with some fans spending three days queuing outside the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle to ensure they get their hands on tickets.
Sharon Hall and daughter Nicola, along with Vickey Lax, Gemma Reed and her mother Wendy, spent three days outside the venue to make sure they were first in line, the Chronicle reports.
The shows, which get underway at the Newcastle venue on May 14th 2012, will be the group's last, as they revealed late last week that they are to split after 14 years.
Ms Lax told the news source they were "devastated" when they found out the band were going their separate ways.
"We're all such huge fans and we've been following them since they started," she remarked.
Fans who want to get their hands on Westlife tickets to see them one last time can also see them performing in many of the UK's major cities, including Birmingham, Sheffield, Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester and London.
