Wilkinson warns of Robinson threat
Jonny Wilkinson has warned his England teammates to be wary of the effect of their former coach Andy Robinson in Saturday's Six Nations clash with Scotland.
Robinson was England head coach from 2004 to 2006 before being sacked and is now at the Helm of the Scotland side.
And with England needing a win to keep their hopes of Six Nations glory alive, Wilkinson has warned of the qualities Robinson will bring to his new team.
"The balance is you have a huge amount of respect for what he did on the field when he played and the way he coaches," he said.
Although Wilkinson never played under Robinson as head coach due to an unfortunate run of injuries, he has experience of him from his spell as assistant to Clive Woodward.
"I am a big fan of Andy Robinson's. I had great experiences under him. He creates enormous energy, he brings confidence, he brings trust from the players and he brings physicality mixed in with detail," said Wilkinson.
Scotland take on England in the RBS Six Nations at Murrayfield on Saturday, March 13th.
