Will Young discusses therapy and family
Will Young has spoken out about his career, ex-boyfriend and family troubles.
In an interview with the Independent, he suggested that he is not as confident as he may seem.
Admitting to taking a self-esteem class, Will said he found it "extremely valuable".
He also claimed he visits a therapist once every two months to deal with his lifestyle.
Will, who has a twin brother Rupert, also claimed that his family struggled with the fame when he first won Pop Idol.
His brother suffered from alcoholism and depression as a teenager, leading him to self harm just as Will was about to go on the TV talent show.
Once, Rupert got caught in a brawl and it looked as though he may be sent to prison, but since the two set up a charity, The Mood Foundation, his brother found his calling and his life is now settled.
The Pop Idol is currently planning for the release of his singles collection The Hits on November 16th.
To promote the album, he will also be going on a tour, kicking off at Belfast's Waterfront Hall on November 9th before winding up at the Brighton Centre on December 6th.
