Will backs Joe McElderry for X Factor
As a former reality TV star himself, Will Young likely has a fair idea of what makes a talent show winner.
Now, the star has backed Joe McElderry to take home the X Factor crown.
Speaking to the BBC, Will said that he believed Joe to be the "dark horse" of the competition.
Will helped Cheryl Cole pick the final three she would be taking to the show at the "Judge's House" stage of X Factor.
"Cheryl was great, very open to listening to advice. Obviously it was her decision but we did properly talk about it. She really listens," he said.
Will is currently undertaking a tour of the UK to promote his singles collection, The Hits.
Tickets are still available on Viagogo for a number of dates, including Manchester Apollo on November 15th and Newcastle City Hall on November 19th.
