Wladimir Klitschko to defend titles in Mariusz Wach fight
Ukrainian heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko will face the unbeaten Mariusz Wach at the O2 Arena in Hamburg on November 10th.
Wladimir Klitschko vs Mariusz Wach fight tickets are currently on sale for those who wish to see Klitschko fighting for the world heavyweight title he has held for six years.
This will be the first time Klitschko will be challenged by an opponent bigger than him (6 ft 6 ins) as Polish boxer Wach is 6 ft 7 ins.
Wladimir Klitschko's most recent fights saw the champion easily defeat cruiserweight professional Jean-Marc Mormeck in March this year and Tony Thompson in July.
Klitschko spoke of his upcoming bout with Wach: "It is the first time that I am facing an opponent who is taller than me and has a better reach. He is unbeaten, a big puncher and has an irrepressible will."
He added that he was looking forward to fighting in Hamburg, the place where he began his career as a heavyweight boxer in 1996 and where he took down UK opponent David Haye last year.
The victory saw his unification of three belts and alongside his brother Vitali Klitschko, also a heavyweight fighter, held down all the major heavyweight titles.
