X Factor girls in secret rivalry over styling, says Walsh
The X Factor's female judges harbour a secret rivalry over their outfits and make-up, Louis Walsh has revealed.
In an interview with Glamour magazine, the Irish judge said the relationship between Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue is less cordial than it appears on screen.
"What I like is seeing the girls looking at one another thinking, 'Where did she get that dress? Why didn't I get that dress?' And, 'Who did her hair?'," he said.
"They are always kissing each other and complimenting each other but really it's a mixture between a catwalk and a catfight. Simon and me are the two ugly bookends."
The 58-year-old claimed Simon Cowell is also obsessed with his appearance.
"He's always trying these facials and buys unbelievably expensive face creams from Harrods. Oh, and he has this hairdryer he carries around," he told the magazine.
The X Factor Live tour begins on February 19th 2011 at the LG Arena in Birmingham.
