What happens when your tickets are sold?

Once your tickets sell, you will receive an email confirming the sale. You do not need to do anything else.

To ensure that supporters of the opposing team are not seated in home areas, Aston Villa will undertake checks to ensure that the proposed buyer of your ticket is an Aston Villa supporter. If Aston Villa has any reason to believe that the proposed buyer of your ticket is a supporter of the opposing team or has a history of behaviour in relation to football matches which makes them unsuitable, in Aston Villa’s opinion, to attend matches at Villa Park, the purchase will be cancelled and your ticket will be relisted for sale. We will contact you within 48 hours of the sale if Aston Villa is not satisfied with your proposed buyer. If we do not contact you within 48 hours, the purchase is approved.

If Aston Villa is satisfied that the buyer of your ticket is an Aston Villa supporter, Aston Villa will automatically deactivate your Season Ticket for the match, and a paper ticket will be printed for the buyer.
