There is no denying that WWE is fantastic entertainment. World Wrestling Entertainment is now a multiple billion dollar industry that sells hundreds of thousands of WWE tickets for live events, and even more of pay-per-view. The brainchild of Vince McMahon WWE is a behemoth in the modern sports arena that has come a long way since the first Wrestlemania in 1985. Fuelled partly by the global fame of Hulk Hogan, the then WWF shrugged off its amateur roots and became one the most popular sports in America. With the addition of stars like Jesse Ventura, Brett Hart, Shaun Michaels and The Undertaker, WWE tickets sold faster than ever as the violence grew even more brutal and the spectacle even more grand. Changing its name after a dispute with the World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as the WWF, WWE came into being and didn’t let a name change dilute the popularity of the brand as WWE tickets kept selling, especially when the WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown events were added. With more storyline twists than a soap opera, spectacular stunts and a host of crazy characters it’s no wonder that WWE tickets are still selling in large numbers.
