Formed in 1989 by vocalist Damon Albarn, guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree, the band continued the tradition of a very english brand of pop. Thanks to a fantastic run of albums including 'Modern Life Is Rubbish', 'Parklife' and 'The Great Escape' and a very public feud with fellow Britpoppers Oasis, Blur became one of the biggest bands in Britain.
