Formed of James Hetfield on lead vocals, Lars Ulrich on drums, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo on guitar, bass and background vocals these four musical talents have formed apart of rocky history. Their demo "Life 'Til Leather" got into the hands of Jon Zazula's, a music producer who saw Metallica's undeniable talent and pushed to launch their careers. Metallica then went on to become a recognised name in the underground rock community which gave them enough fuel to create their first album "Kill 'Em All" which was released in 1983. Metallica then went on to produce further albums and their self titled album in 1991 - better known as "The Black Album" by fans - brought the height of their success to its peak. Evolving to produce shorter, simpler and more powerful rock arrangements, Metallica showcased these new album tracks through a series of tours which saw them exert their performances to the limit. Metallica then took a brief hiatus to focus on their family lives and fatherhood.
